With more than 50 years in the Marine Survey business, our clients trust us to handle their maritime needs. Acting as independent Marine Surveyors has given us experience with a great variety of yachts, fishing vessels, passenger vessels, barges, salvage and repair. We are involved with cargo damage, loading and lashing, project cargo, and insurance claims for most major U.S. and foreign Marine Insurance Underwriters. Our team offers care, knowledge, and expertise to our clients. We are prompt, reliable, and courteous.
NITA PRIGIAN, NAMS-CMS
As Principal Surveyor and President for Mike Doyle, Limited, Nita has accumulated more than 25 years of experience as a Marine Surveyor. Trained by Michael F. Doyle, founder of Mike Doyle, Limited, Nita has accumulated extensive experience as head cargo surveyor, handling damaged containers, refrigerated and dry container product losses, bulk cargoes, project cargo, and heavy lift. Nita has also worked with a wide range of cases, including hull and machinery, substitute custodian of arrested vessels, and emergency response. Since Mike's passing in 2010, Nita has become President of the company.

Our History
Mike Doyle, Limited was founded in 1973 by Michael F. Doyle, an avid boater since childhood. After a yacht delivery to Honolulu, following the 1972 Tahiti race, Mike settled in Hawaii. A graduate of MIT, with years of engineering experience, Mike had what it takes to become an all-around Marine Surveyor. Over the years, Mike grew the company into one of the most well known, and respected Marine Survey firms in Hawaii, known locally, throughout the U.S. Mainland, and Internationally. Every job is given time and attention to detail with a personal touch, no job is too big or too small. This core value has continued through the years. With Mike’s passing in 2010, his step daughter, Nita Prigian, is carrying on Mike’s work, with the same principles that Mike instilled.
